I was pleased to participate in the Mining Coffee Chat with Remi Piet, Senior Director Infrastructure, Energy and Natural Resources at Americas Market Intelligence.
We spoke about responsible mining practices and standards across the gold supply chain and reviewed existing practices that were started by the World Gold Council such as the Conflict-Free Gold Standard, the Guidance Note on All-In Costs and the Responsible Gold Mining Principles. All these initiatives support increased transparency and integrity in the gold industry.
